Photographer's Note

It was in October 2005. It was raining continously during the week and we had a flood. This picture shows the backyard of a house in Acton Vale, it is not on the river bed. The sunlight came back at the end of the day, giving this reflection on water. It was nice to see the sun shining again and the rain stopped - a relief.

Another image in Workshop showing a street also covered with flood. The yellow sign at left is a warning concerning the presence of dogs in the house. The white rectangle is a mail box (letter box) – just to give an idea of the level of the water :-/

It is very beautiful and pleasant to live near the river, but there are some risks ~ ~ ~

Note: I have a new signature for my pictures... thanks Peter, for sending me this "logo" :-)
