On my way to work each day I see on a pond by a busy highway a blue heron.. finally I stopped from the frenzy of the drive and took that photo.. I am still amazed that this bird is not afraid of the traffic.. I am still amazed there is still nature around!

Hello, Corine,
I love bird photos and the Blue Herons are very hard to get a photo of. They fly away very easily. This has great color and nice detail and is well composed. Perhaps just a touch of contrast might have made it more eyecatching, but still a good shot. Well seen and shot. Many thanks and kindest wishes,
