Photographer's Note

It was said that the Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) is going to be the official flower of Toronto – with the passing of the new bylaw by the city council – for pesticide use.

For me is still a good photo subject. We are so used to it, we pass by so often, and we do not look for the beauty of this “weed” considered by some. The young leaves are used in salad in some countries, or the plant is a valuable food for many animals. The root, fresh and dried, the young tops can be used medicinally.
Used: the MACRO function of the camera in High Park Toronto.
Treatment: cropped a bit and made the frame.
