Photographer's Note

This is a recently created park on Toronto's waterfront in a former industrial area. This picture shows its southern part with interesting modern architecture on its east side. The 44-storey condominium tower, called Monde, is not completely finished yet. It was was designed by the internationally renown Israeli-Canadian architect Moshe Safdie. The smaller condominium building, called Aqualina at Bayside, was completed in 2016. The small zinc-clad pavilion in the middle is decorative and functional. A water treatment facility, housed in the basement of the pavilion, collects and cleans stormwater from the surrounding area using ultraviolet (UV) light. There are two other views in the Workshop.
