Photographer's Note
This temporary art installation, called 'Pussy Hut', stands on Toronto's Woodbine Beach. It is one of six winning entries into the 2018 Winterstations international design competition to bring temporary public art installations to The Beaches, an exhibition to celebrate Toronto's winter waterfront landscape. This one was submitted by Martin Miller & Mo Zheng, Ithaca, NY, USA. The design is based on the Pussy Hat, which become the symbol of the women's movement in the USA.
There are pictures of two other entries into the competition in the Workshop.
