Photographer's Note

This is another view from the top of the TD Bank tower, showing two examples of notable modern architecture. On the left, the blue titanium-clad box is a recent addition of the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO). It was placed there during a major transformation of the building, designed by the famous Toronto born architect Frank Gehry. The unique feature on the south facade of the new addition is the spiral staircase which extends outside of the wall to give the climbers a nice view of the park below. The poyher is the Sharp Centre for Design building of the OCAD University, better known as the 'Tabletop”. It was designed by the acclaimed British architect Will Alsop to stand on 12 steel legs high enough to give the residents of the apartments across the street an unimpeded view of the Grange park. The south facade of the AGO from the ground is shown in the Workshop. A view of the "Tabletop" from the ground is shown here.
