Photographer's Note
had a solo canoe trip to northern Ontario for three days. Had a lots of fun. This photo was taken during sun set. I was hoping something more spectacular, but the cloud was blocking the sun. So, I decided to take the could instead. oh, and my handsome canoe.

Hello Benson! I think you had many elements in place to make this a tremendous image. The mirrored reflection and exposure is just perfect. The cool colors are great and your red canoe is very beautiful. Unfortunately IMHO, I found the blurry rope to be a little distracting. And also, I think if you shot the canoe less head on, it might have been a little stronger or maybe minimized the rope issue. But nonetheless, an excellent photo
thanks for sharing

Wooow, So Great and Wonderful Shot.
I love the Blueish colors in the picture, the red boat, nice clouds and dark trees.
A Master Piece Pic.

Hi, Benson. Looks like a beautiful painting. Absolutely breath-taking. I love the softness of it, very dream-like. The composition is just top notch -- the red boat and yellow rope. Just wonderful DOF. Did I mention the wonderful refection? TFS.

A very fine shot of its type, Benson. You don't really need more of a 'sunset' with that beautiful lake and the clarity and colour of the boat. It is a pity about the rope, and maybe a move a few feet to the left might have lessened its impact. Although that would have spoiled the head-on charm of the boat, I suppose. Anyway, it's a very lovely shot, capturing a certain tranquil mood. Well done.

Andrew

Hello Benson,
The late light has made this very peaceful, the canoe stands out well against the grey clouds and reflections and the black silhouettes of the tree's. Well done.

Neil
