The lake water of this part of Georgian Bay, Ontario was just warm enough to bear. It was pretty cold, but warm for June. My friend's son loved it though and waded bravely out into it.
Taken at Killbear Provincial Park, about 3 o'clock on a Saturday.

interesting picture, the tight framing is good and it does look very cold...the waves are nice.

This is a very simple but still interesting shot, Kelley. The tight frame really focuses on the little boy, although I cannot see his face the whole posture tells me of excitment. Your title is genious. That is exactly how I felt it in during my infacy when I lived in Rio and went to the beach: the sand is sugary!
