Photographer's Note
When the snow falls, a whole new world develops. What used to be a nice spot to sit and enjoy a drink outside is now a centerpiece for a holiday greeting card. This is a private home's backyard that I can see from my house. And being from Florida, seeing these big fluffy flakes was like watching little miracles falling. The look of winter is still almost surprising, how the very cold can look so pretty, and be so much fun for some folks too.
Slightly modified photo.

Good afternoon Michelle!
I love your winter picture with the flakes. Your backyard looks almost like mine in Mississauga. Probably I will go for Christmas to Miami to your State, because my son is working over there and living with family.
Thanks for the picyure and for the note
best regards

Ciao Michelle!! This is your Christmas postcard for me! I feel the silence of the falling snow in your picture, and the lonliness of the table.
Enjoy your Christmas!!!

Hi Michelle, I like that you have captured the snow in full fall - we used to have that a few times a week when I grew up in New Jersey, but now it only happens a few times a year. As you know I've lived in London the past 5 years, but have never seen more than half an inch of snow - 10 years ago they'd have a foot of it.
Another positive about the image is that the snow is correctly exposed, which is not always easy.
I'm looking forward to seeing the different season (Spring, Summer, Autumn) of Canada through your eyes.

Hi Michelle,
Great shot! Almost makes me shiver just looking at all that snow. There's real humour too, in seeing the summer garden furniture deeply covered in snow. The big falling snow flakes make the image more dynamic.
Best wishes
Peter

Hello Michelle.
I like this picture very much. I love the way the color of the stools looks the same as colors on the fence.
Have you tried experimenting with this picture in photoshop? Like just a little cropping from the left and bottom. And how about trying to make it look a little bit like sepia?

Hi MIchelle,
Revisiting your pictures and your commentaries makes me remember with great nostalgia our arrival in Canada and our kids' (and our) excitement with the first snow fall - and the others that followed. This is a nice image.
