Bouctouche dérive du mot micmac Chebooktoosk, qui signifie « grand petit havre ». Selon certaines sources, il serait plutôt un diminutif du nom Richibouctou, aussi d'origine micmacque.

Hello Serge,
The grey tones at the top and bottom underscore the vividness of the central area, where lots of boats are surrounded by green areas. Even then, a somewhat tighter crop could have been an option in order to bring us closer to the most interesting part.

Hello Serge,
I like the layered effect with the boats and grassy areas sandwiched by the grey sky and grey water. The green turquoise painted boat makes a particularly effective focal boat. The image is well exposed with good colour contrasts.

Le ciel orageux donne un effet dramatique à la scène. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails des bateaux. Le ciel nuageux donne un bon contraste aux couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

We get a very nice panorama view about the port.
Notwithstanding bad weather with the grey sky.
Create depth and perspective about the area.

Je connaissais le mot avec pour définition une sorte de désordre, situation embrouillée :Quel micmac ! ;o)
Mais pas celle présentée ici.
Il n'en demeure pas moins que j'aime l'ambiance générale des lieux avec ce ciel lourd et épais.

Bonjour Serge,

The central layer of boats and grass, seems like the middle layer of a sandwich, surrounded by the outer layers of grey clouds, a nicely composed 'thirds' photograph.
Perhaps a closer crop would have made the items seem closer but the mood is still there, grey and threatening.
