Photographer's Note
Unfortunately I never had a chance to reach the real, big desert in the United Arab Emirates. My only contact with the desert were limited to a standard excursion with 4x4´s in an area with very modest dunes.
It was fun but not extraordinary. The best part were when my driver got stuck after going down one dune a bit to steep. It took a while to get loose, after verbal support from a number of other drivers.
That´ll be it from UAE.

Howdy Gojo,
Fine view of the 4 x 4 'surfing' the red waves, which I see in my imagination.
I have wanted a Jeep Wrangler to explore our West, but am happy to hike it as an alternative.
Well done,
Cheers,
Ray

so, next time, you definitely need to go to morocco for the dunes :) but you need not feel sad, as the photographic result here is no less than the ones in larger dunes. great action photo, captured on the exact time. the splash of sand is quite original, we don't see that often in photos.

Greeting Goran,
This is an excellent action shot with the 4x4 vehicle kicking up sand. I understand that in driving on sand, the air is frequently expelled from tires, so that there will be more surface contact.
Season's Greetings and a Happy New Year,

Hej Goran,
my elder son has been to the UAE in 2012 shooting a movie for a submission of a railway technology provider for the UAE railway project. They had even more problems when their driver crossed the top of a dune early before sunrise, not seeing that there was a dune funnel on the other side - which he managed to hit. Digging proved useless, and verbal support did not help either, they hardly managed to get out with the assistance of another car before it turned too hot...
En rigtig god Jul, og et godt Nytår!

Hello Goran,
This is a truly spectacular photo combining action, automobile and colorful dunes. I wonder how long it takes to get the dunes back to their pristine shapes after they've been chewed up by these 4X4s.

hi Goran
this is not the skind of sport i would do on sand dunes, i would prefer walking.
nevertheless, it's a good picture, taken at the right moment with the "wave" of sand giving the impression of movement.
warm regards

Hello Goran - This could be Namibia with the bright orange dunes and the 4X4 kicking up a veritable dust storm. Captured at a great moment you have presented the fun of off-road driving. Nicely done. Warm regards Rosemary

Hi Goran
Sand Dune Bashing! this is a striking action shot while I admire the sand colours and contours of this desert, the 4WD is finely shot entering the frame timely showing some good effect on the sand spray. Great exposure and contrast with excellent depth. Well done shot, Congrats.
Wishing you a very Happy Christmas
Best regards

Hello Goran,
I like very much how you placed the car in the frame and how it disturbs this fine composition of two layers. You've rendered the depth and the movement very effectively, the texture of the sand is rich and natural and the car stands out as 3D. It's intriguing to anticipate its movement and route further into the frame. The simple colour scheme enhances the sense of space. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely day,
Ourania

Hello Goran. What once were the camels, today the SUV. Such trips by jeep are very popular in the Middle East - and they are a very special experience!
Best rgds, Wolfgang .... a happy new year

Dear Goran
A fantastic action shot, I love how you controlled the shutter so well to capture the spray of the sands. The colours and contrasts are superb, giving rise to brilliant textures. Congratulations on this excellent shot.

Hello Goran
I thought this was Australia when I first saw it. But apparently making a mess of the desert is an international pastime! It certainly makes a dramatic photograph. Shame you weren't able to see more "real", remote desert landscape, but this will do for now! Happy New Year.

Hello Goran,
with the golden sand being scattered by the spinning wheels of the 4x4 it`s a very impressive and colourful action shot.
