Photographer's Note
This day and age we're living in
Gives cause for apprehension
With speed and new invention
And things like fourth dimension.
Yet we get a trifle weary
With Mr. Einstein's theory.
So we must get down to earth at times
Relax relieve the tension
And no matter what the progress
Or what may yet be proved
The simple facts of life are such
They cannot be removed.
You must remember this
A kiss is just a kiss, a sigh is just a sigh.
The fundamental things apply
As time goes by...

Wow! another poster photograph of yours, where do you get those subjects bro? does Istanbul inspires you so much? what could I say now? The idea once again is very inspired and well presented. Some overexposed issues on the light since I'm dealing with PP that much I can say that this could be corrected with RAW usage, setting the recovery points a bit high. I'll show you how to do it.
The girl's expression is so adorable, she hadn't felt you, thats for sure.
man you're like a ghost with the camera, in the right place the right time. I don't know how you do it, but I'll tell you this, I will admire your skill by seeing your pictures one by one.
The word congratulations is so ordinary and people here use it frequently, but what else can I say to an image that deserves it?
TFS
I'll try to work a bonus WS, altered version on this one

I really like this picture for the creative sense you show. It is simply beautiful. For the technical aspects I do prefer the WS as the window seems with a much better exposure. Well done.

There were four of you shooting pictures, yet she didn't look up and notice? That seems remarkable.
It's a remarkable photo, too, really a great use of window light. Her skin and the chairs both have a real glow. (Guess which one I like better...) It makes me consider what she might have been contemplating...maybe just life. Regards, Ken.

Bostan it is mentioned in your intro note that you are a surgeon. I was alittle bit surprised. Seeing your work here I saw an artist who knows about the light, recognizes textures and patterns.
You have The Eye. To me you are a high skilled photographer.
The photo is an excellent low key capture and I love some burnt highlights. For others is technically wrong. For me its simply authentic.
Congrats

Hello Korkut
I just love that light,a wonderful play of light and shades...she really posed for you :-)...she knew where to place herself...half in light, half in shadow...,she knew where to watch, all those chairs lightened by the outside light...trully beautiful.
Love it.

Geia sou file mou, maybe you should change your profession given the quality and beautiness of your shots! And if you operate as good as you shoot (pictures!) then all your patients can rest assured in your hands ;-P. Seriously, I love your composition and the way it leads the eye from near to the woman's face against the window. Very effective, and as always well presented.

Hi Korkut,
Very imaginative image as usual with the young lady deep in thought as the church insulates her from the pull of the work a day world.
The b&w treatment is perfect for this somber subject.

The most I like to this version of this "familiar" photo, is the light on the chairs.
I think this is that gives a different touch from the others of the same group.
The black and white conversion is another one point of alteration.

the song reminds me of my demised older brother.
i remember as a litle boy, he used to sing this song infront of the lifesize mirror that my mom still have up to this time.
i have never seen the movie tho (casablanca).
BW is perfect choice for this rather somber mood of the lady subject. lighting well managed as well. and whose bday is it?

Hi Korkut,
i think with photo like this all words are useless...
Where does her view ends? Where did her mind wandered to? Why is such a young girl looking so serious and sad? Why alone?
Questions never answered...Questions that give life to imagination.
My compliments,

After reading your note I found out where I have seen this before: in a great photo by Deniz named "A Streetcar Named Desire". :) You found an incredible model...
Your composition is very sensitive. I prefer it over Deniz's because here I can immerse in her thoughts without any other light source to distract me. Your exposure is great (difficult it is...) and the mood is absolutely perfect. Love it!

A lonely soul thinking in the light.. Darkness inside, the light comes from outside..
Excellent exposure, but the goal is the vertical formation, I think.
