Photographer's Note

This is the 10th view from my trip to Turkey.

Another photograph from our first small trip from Selcuk. We visited one of the great cities of the Ionian Greeks in Anatolia - Ephesus. It was founded by colonists principally from Athens. The ruins of Ephesus are a major tourist attraction, especially for people travelling to Turkey by cruise ship via the port of Kuşadası. People say that this ancient city is best place in the world to get the feeling for what life was like in Roman times.

Archeologists still work at the ruins and find a new objects. In next 10 years it might look much different.

We had a wonderful weather that day, not too hot but still shiny. Exploring this place was a real pleasure.

Taken with 10d, wide angle lens and tripod. Although the one can not use a tripod inside Ephesus I managed to take most of my pictures with its support to get the best sharpness.

Hope you like it!
