Merhaba Ferhat, your name rhymes with Firat, but for the sake of those who don't understand Turkish, I suggest that you explain that this is about the Euphrates river...

I never saw the Euphrates with such a turquoise - transparent colour, really Halfeti seems a beautiful place ! And I like the distance in your photo (2 villages visible in the far I think, aren't there 2 minarets ?

Is "Ax" the equivalent of "resim" in Kurdish ? (then it would be the same word as in Farsi...)

Hello,
You have here a nice panorama well composed. Only regrets is that it is a little over exposed. The reflects on water are nice even if not strong.

Hallo Ferhat,

muss ich meine wohlverdiente Pause nützen, ein paar Fotos zu "kritisieren" ...
Das schon fast karibische Blau des Flusses ist schon beeindruckend, vor allem in dieser eher doch trocken wirkenden Umgebung ... auch das tiefe Flussbett, dass er sich gegraben hat (wie man es ja gut bei deinen Fotos von Buk u Zava sieht) ist grandios!
Welches der beiden Dörfer im Hintergrund ist denn Halfeti?
Und was bedeutet das Gedicht übersetzt?
