Photographer's Note
This is the mosaics of the virgin Mary and the Jesus on the doom of Hagia Sophia museum in Istanbul. This temple used to be a big Church in Byzantian times, and ruined by Latin invasion, and then converted into a mosque by the Ottoman conqueror of Istanbul. By the new Turkish republic it was converted into amuseum with magnificient left overs of Byzantian frescos and Islamic art. Hagia Sophia is a candidate of new world seven wonders.
