Photographer's Note

A capture I'd made in the famous Sultanahmet Square with two Aegyptian obeliskes, the Kaiser Wilhelm Fountain and of course the famous Blue Mosque.
I was sitting in a cafe on the place and noticed that one of the windows towards the Blue Mosque was broken.
The graphism was perfect and I made this capture.

Hipopdrom of Istanbul, close te the famous landmarks of Istanbul, the Blue Mosque and the Saint Sophia, is one of the much visited parts of the city.
Here a view towards the Saint Sophia, with a group of tourists and at the back the famous Kaiser Wilhelm II fountain, made as a gift to the city durin his visit to Istanbul.
Installed in Istanbul in 1900

The German Fountain is a gazebo styled fountain in the northern end of old hippodrome (Sultanahmet Square), Istanbul, Turkey and across from the Mausoleum of Sultan Ahmed I. It was constructed to commemorate the second anniversary of German Emperor Wilhelm II's visit to Istanbul in 1898.
