Photographer's Note

As I allways use to say, doors and windows of our houses are like our eyes.
They are the first objects of the buildings open to the World.

The Ramadan Feast in Turkey is a time for visiting relatives and paying one’s respect to older people. Many Turks give away sweets and desserts during the festival, and children may watch free Turkish shadow plays.

Today is the first day of a major İslamic Holiday, after 30 days of Ramadan.

And in Turkey it's a -still in act- tradition neighbours and relatives visit each orher during this 3 days lasting feast.

And the entrances are in this regard quite important.

I've made also this capture in Sile, quite close to my summer house.
