Photographer's Note
Istanbul Trip, Day 2, Scene 1
The first morning I was in Istanbul, we went to Sarıyer for breakfast. Apparently, Göze Teras Cafe is the in place for breakfast. It is located on top of a CarrefourExpress. The fruit stall in front of the shop looked colorful, especially on a dreary day like this. Did I mention that it rained a lot when I was there?
PS. As a result of my discussion with Mariusz, I uploaded a less saturated version to the WS/

Merhaba Murat Bey,
The colorful photo shows a slice of daily life. I see that you shot it two weeks ago, and hopefully by now the weather is charging for the better. The tomatoes especially look delicious. A combination of those tomatoes, along with a few pieces of yarim yagli beyaz peyniri, francola just out of the oven, and a little oil and vinegar... would make a tempting domates salatasi.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Hi Murat, You mentioned that it rained a lot and this photo is the proof. Nice place for breakfast in sunny day, the view from the terrace must be very nice. Attractive display of fruits, this green is eye catching.
Pleasant shot in spite of the rain.

Red, green, and many oranges gave excelent texture and contrast to the mostly grey tone prevailed image.
A rainy daily-life photo, Murat, considering the low light conditions, managed a fairly good shot.
Nice Sunday,

Hi Murat,
Indeed you did mention it rained a lot.
This a good shot considering the conditions, good use of light making it a colourful shot.
Have a nice Sunday.

Hi Murat,
You're capturing well this place by a good composition and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see the cafe terrace of second floor and fresh fruit stall on front of building faced to the port. Surely, it looks like a dreary day with grey sky and rain, but people's life can see from a photograph.
Kind regards,
mikio

Hi Murat,
Rainy days can be such a pain, even when you find a good scene it's difficult not to be more concerned with keeping the camera dry!? Frustrating, but it can pay off when you run across something as colorful as this little stand. The greens and reds really stand out against the grey sky and pavement...plus, it's Coke umbrella's, so that always scores big for me. :) I like the ingenuity of these vendors to create the stall, crates stacked on pallets, easy to build and move. The rain makes for a nice reflection as well on the foreground. At least it wasn't snowing, right...had enough of that for a season? lol Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Take care.
Friendly wishes,
Jason

Hello Murat,
the weather was very rainy and gloomy during the first days of your visit, I often think of Istanbul in a cloudy and moody weather and I'm not surprised that in winter it looks like this. The grey tones in your picture look natural and subdued, the bright fruit stall stands out like an island. The scene is natural and modest but the chromatic contrast is really striking. Perspective and depth are great and there's also a fine sense of movement. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,

Hi Murat,
The point of view is showing the details and the colours of the vegetables and fruits shop. The rain is making the colours to stand out. Have a nice day.

Hi Murat
One thing comes to mind looking at this: stinging me blind! But a clever way to invite viewers into the colourful harbour scene, A very well planned composition seamlessly done, Congrats.
Best regards

Hello Murat,
Nice colourful DL shot. The Coca-cola parasols, the green boxes and the colourful fruits are doing their best to liven up this rainy morning, but the ladies wear is helping the elements :-) Nice shot from an angular POV. Thanks for sharing.

Subho

merhaba Murat Bey,
Yerlerdeki ıslaklık havanın kasvetini gösteriyor ama sebzelerin renkliliği, kırmızı tentesi ile güzel bir kompozisyon oluşturdunuz, tebrikler

Hi Murat,
I like the rainy photo from Istanbul, somehow I think of Turkey rather as about a sunny country so this is quite surprising for me.
I like the rain aspect but I have the feeling that the colors are a bit messed up here. But I cannot tell what is wrong. The red of coca cola seems to bright somehow. May be it is the processing?

Merhaba Murat Bey,
Sunny this morning here but wind and rain in the afternoon. Love the red and cyan color contrasts here. Good sharpness and the woman shoppers animate the scene and provide scale. Nice reflections in the wet pavement. Tfs!
