Photographer's Note

Wood's house (Yali) along the Bosphorus.

The Bosphorus connects the Black sea with the sea of Marmara. It is approximately 30 km long with a width between 550 and 3700 m.

Two bridges crosse the Bosphorus and connects dus Asia and Europa. Here is the first of the two bridges. This bridge ( 1074 m long) was completed in 1973.

splendida verticale col ponte che crea un magnifico effetto grafico, e col bellissimo palazzo che giace sotto il ponte. Splendidi i colori e la luce.

Bonsoir Roger,

La ligne diagonale du pont est un atout à la composition. La prise de vue envoie mon regard vers l'immeuble ce qui donne de la profondeur à l'image. Elle permet aussi de voir les détails et les couleurs de l'architecture de l'immeuble. La bonne luminosité embellie les couleurs de l'image. Bonne soirée.

That green house make a beautiful contrast with the dark waters of the Bohsphorus. The bridge with this angle has a nice effect in the image.

When I saw this image, I thought at the bridge in Dinant, but these picture come out of Turkey.

The massive suspension bridge makes a splendid frame for the yellowy green house. The shot is well framed and perfectly suits the vertical format. Good light, colours and sharpness. A very attractive graphical composition.

The building on waterfront is an eye-catcher, when it gets extra light on image.
POV under the bride, divides the picture's space between great blue sky and dark shade of water.
Sharp details.

Bonsoir Roger,

Une composition et ce choix de cadrage partiel du pont qui fait la part belle à la perspective. Un joli contraste entre la structure de béton et le maison en bois vert-jaune. Les lignes droites et les diagonales forment également un graphisme très plaisant.

Hi Roger,
This light green house with its red roof is indeed the real ey-catcher in this picture, even if the impressive bridge is well exposed in this composition. The strong lines from the bridge provide a good triangular element!

Bonjour Roger,
un bon cadrage pour mettre en valeur l'architecture intéressante en bois de ces maisons typiques à Istanbul qu'on peut parfaitement voir durant une excursion avec un bateau par le Bosphore, et que tu as opposé très habilement avec le pont impressionnant.
Le contraste entre ces éléments est très fort et ajoute un bon graphisme à ta composition.
J'aime la bonne lumière et les couleurs naturelles de la photo.
C'est un beau travail.

C'est une photo très intéressante et belle!
En plaçant ce bâtiment-là, on peut bien voir la taille de ce pont-là!
La netteté, la gestion de la lumière, les couleurs, le pdv choisi, le format vertical, l'encadrement noir & blanc et la compo sont excellents!
