Photographer's Note
The first time I visited Topkapi Palace the Harem section was already closed around 4 pm. It has different opening and closing hours to the main palace. But the 2nd time I went early and was not disappointed, apart from being asked by security guards to delete a shot of some chain mail armour of Sultan Mustafa III that I spotted in the Imperial Treasury section.
Here's a shot I found despite that.

Hi Chris,
An excellent wide angle view of this beautiful room. I guess there wasn't too much light there. And shots of my own visit there in 2011 were no good. All those small ornament details look great.

Hello Chris,
The light seems to have been quite good, so you captured all these amazing decorations with very good colours and sharpness.

Hello Chris,
This needs to be studied slowly, for there is so much to see, in the way of decorations, pattern and colours.
The reflections on the wall suggest that there were windows behind you, supplying the necessary light for obtaining these sharp details and bright colour.
So many curves can produce dilemmas in composition but your choice works well.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Bonjour Chris,
La décoration est impressionnante. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de l'intérieur de cette partie du harem Tokapi. La lumière environnante met en valeur les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

Hi Chris, every corner of interiors like that are a great opportunity for the photographers, but there isn't pic that can give us the same sensations that we can live when we are there. Your pic is fantastic, top quality in a difficult light! Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Hello Chris!
There is a novel with same name by author Eric Ambler.
Does the novel action have anything to do with this palace?

Hi Chris
Very appealing interior architecture where there is much to look at the exquisite detail, the eye-popping colours and exposure work really fine. It's a very well conceived image indeed.

Hi Chris,
beautiful interior, very well captured. I like the rich patterns all over the walls. The bottom layer slightly truncated -has also some inscriptions so very decorative.
There are so many attractions in Istanbul to see. I would really like to visit it someday. In fact Turkey is the only country which declared it will accept tourists this season without any restrictions so who knows may be I will go there this year?
Very well done,
M

Hello Chris,
Well, shall I say... 2nd time lucky :-)
With all the disappointing, at the end .... you found a wonderful shot of exuberant colour displays.
Each of every 'mosaic tiles' details are stunningly design to perfection with Islamic influences , so unique especially the pointed 'arch' windows and the golden roof.
You can never go wrong with these striking 'blue and gold' dominant colours. The composition is spot on too.
Thanks for sharing this 'Imperial Mosaic'.

Hello Chris,
I would not be as miffed if they applied the rule everywhere. On this trip, I noticed that they had many places with the sign "indoor photography prohibited" but nobody paid attention. In fact, at one such place, a tourist asked the guard to take a picture of her and he obliged. But when my son tried to capture the Kaşıkçı Diamond, it was "photography forbidden."
Nice framing and good light management, BTW!
Regards,
MT
