Depicted here in fresco form are Saint Gregory Theologian, and Saint Cyril of Alexandria, 2 of 6 such figures below the domed fresco of “Anastasis/Resurrection”. Taken at the magnificent Chora Church, also known as the church of St Salvador of Chora.

The Church of the Holy Saviour in Chora, often simply known as Chora Church, (in Turkish, 'Kariye Kilisesi') is one of the world's finest examples of Byzantine art. It dates from 1077-1081 AD. More images and info here:
