Istanbul has numerous shopping centers, from the historic to the modern. The Grand Bazaar, in operation since 1461, is among the world's oldest and largest covered markets.
Mahmutpasha Bazaar is an open-air market extending between the Grand Bazaar and the Egyptian Bazaar, which has been Istanbul's major spice market since 1660. Galleria Ataköy ushered in the age of modern shopping malls in Turkey when it opened in 1987.
Since then, malls have become major shopping centers outside the historic peninsula. Akmerkez was awarded the titles of "Europe's best" and "World's best" shopping mall by the International Council of Shopping Centers in 1995 and 1996; Istanbul Cevahir has been one of the continent's largest since opening in 2005; Kanyon won the Cityscape Architectural Review Award in the Commercial Built category in 2006.İstinye Park in İstinye and Zorlu Center near Levent are among the newest malls which include the stores of the world's top fashion brands. Abdi İpekçi Street in Nişantaşı and Bağdat Avenue on the Anatolian side of the city have evolved into high-end shopping districts.

What a nice surprise for me ! A nice wintery scene from my homecity. Very good pov and layout. Many interesting notes.
It's quite cold here but I do not think that we shall get snow this days.

Hello Costantino,
The trees and benches covered with snow are nicely lined up along a diagonal. They are amusing to watch and give fine depth to the photo. The photo has nice colours and contrasts in spite of the cloudy sky.

The snow turns a rather banal scene into something a little bit magical. Benches and trees make a good lead-line toward the group of people who supply an interesting focal point. Good technical realisation.

Bitter cold scene that nobody braving the benches, just got the chill, you sure do get snow quick in your part of the world! PLEASE send some over to SG. This is one of your strongest images for me, an apparently simple composition yet it's made from lots of components that all work so well together, lined trees, benches and even some background interest. Graceful arrangement and this, I think works superbly in monochrome. Excellent presentation,

very appropriate title.
We have rarely snow in England and then the traffic is paralyzed so I prefer to have no winter at all.
It is nice though to watch it from a safety of your home on a computer screen in your photo :)
You hada great snowy trip to Istanbul I see.
