Photographer's Note

Taken during a day trip to Garipce Village yesterday.

Garipce is one of the 9 villages of Sariyer/Istanbul. It is in Istanbul, so close yet so far away. The inhabitants of this village, almost all of them fishermen, has not changed within the past 50 years.

It is said that, during the Ottoman times, Garipce was growing fresh fruits and vegetables, mainly grapes, for the Sultans. It is the second last village before the Bosphorous opens up to the Black Sea.

It offers fresh air full of iodine, and fresh fish, and lots of opportunities to take wonderfull photos.

Hey gidi hey, üstünden sadece 1-1,5 sene falan geçti. Hem konsept hem tarz hem de kalite ne kadar ilerledi galerinde. Demek ki insan ne oldum değil ne olacam demeliymiş. Ne olacan Salvator? :)))
