Photographer's Note

Another capture from my tour in Eyupsultan. Part of the caffee house at the hilltop.

Yesterday I made again a long sigthseeing tour in oldtown of Istanbul at the end of the Golden Horn.
During next days I'll continue to share here some captures I've made during this 5 hours lasting walk.
This second one shows part of the famoous caffe house there with the Golden Horn t background, one of the most important marks of the city. I've made also this capture from the famous Pierre Loti Cafe. Named after the famous French poet, who spent here many days during his stay in İstanbul.
Pierre Loti, pseudonym of Louis-marie-julien Viaud, (born Jan. 14, 1850, Rochefort, Fr.—died June 10, 1923, Hendaye), novelist whose exoticism made him popular in his time and whose themes anticipated some of the central preoccupations of French literature between World Wars.

A much visited point, 55 meters above the sea level with many traditional cafes.
Alltghough the weather was not too good, it was again a good daily trip.
