Photographer's Note

While I was there, Sakıp Sabancı Museum was hosting an exhibition titled ‘MACK. Just Light and Colour’, showcasing the long and prolific career of the leading artist of German modernism, Heinz Mack. This year marks the 60th year of Mack’s career and his 85th year.

Sadece Işık ve Renk

Ben oradayken, Sakıp Sabancı Müzesi Alman modernizmin önde gelen sanatçısı, Heinz Mack’ın uzun ve üretken kariyerini gösteren 'MACK. Sadece Işık ve Renk’ başlıklı sergiyi ağırlıyordu. Bu yıl Mack’ın kariyerinin 60. yılını ve onun 85. yılını işaretler.

Simple light and colors on the display, a nice tones for photographers, but frankly - I do not see a "subject" in this work.
Yet it may be attractive to the taste of people.

It is what the title of the exhibition says: Just light and colours. I think I could also paint something like this, but the idea is more important. But not much visitors here. Only one woman and the guard bored.

My favorite theme: Pictures at an exhibition. Lovely overview. We get a nice impression of the work of Heinz Mack.
Also the title gives a clue about the importance of light and color in his work.
Good presentation.

Hello Murat,
A very nice museum photo, taken from a good POV. It shows some nice, colourful and well lit works of art. The visitor and the guard are well included in the otherside pretty empty hall.

Hello Murat,
People and surroundings working together usually create my favourite kind of photos. This is a good way to take pictures in a museum. We get some idea of what kind of art that is shown and at least one visitor enjoying the show. The guard looks bored as usual.

People at exhibitions are always a good subject! I like the composition with the room attendant on watch made more prominent than the onlooker and I like the way you have angled the camera creating a nice stopper on the far end. A cool shot sparked with lively colours under natural lighting of an interesting aspect and appreciation of artwork, A coool shot,,,
