Photographer's Note
Hi people who like the boats and sea pictures.
This is intended to blue hour view but one of the not blue hour photographs due to blue hour is very limited actually and some time I cannot catch it due to long exposures, undecided objects, to find better point of views..
At the end of these series I' ll become probably an expert of boat an sea category, OR become nothing :)
P.S.
You can find blue hour version here

Hello Hakki ,
Usually , I'm not a fan of blurred effect . But in this case , I like a lot the effect on the boat (you've explained to me the reason recently) . The composition is splendid , in this vertical format , with the green FG , the pretty boat , and the lightened city in the BG .
Well done .

Merhaba Hakki

Hi Hakki. Pictures of night scenes are a challenge for photographers. Everyone has their own special technique for these photographs. On the boat in the foreground, one sees the long exposure time. Overall, the photo is absolutely outstanding. The wonderful colors and the depth of field fit together perfectly. Compliment for this beautiful photograph. Regards, Wolfgang.

Yes, this one is better, even the bg is clearer here.
The colours are the best thing here, really fine.
(By the way: if you had gone there one hour earlier at the real blue hour, you could use a faster exposure time because of more light - it's the only way to have the floating boats to be still! (:-)
Ciao,
Donato

Hello Hakki
It looks like the boat was slightly moving and with the long expo, it gives an interesting blurred on it...The illuminated city and the reflections of the lights made for a nice contrast with the darker areas. a good sense of depth too!
Cheers

Dear Hakki,
indeed your collection is rather a brown hour than blue, but it is not less beautiful and impressive so you have nothing to worry about. Your sky is brown if when you take a shot too long after sunset. To catch a perfect blue hour sky you need to check the official sunset time e.g. on yahoo weather for your location, and add half an hour. This is exactly when the blue hour starts and it lasts usually for about half an hour. It may be a bit sooner or later depending on the clouds and the brightness of city illumination.
Yet as I say, you have nothing to worry about -your works are fantastic, I enjoy very much the composition here. The boat moving on the water and everything around still. Nice green foreground and great background.
Very well done,
M

Hello Hakki,
Interesting the blurred effect on the boat, strange but effective. Splendid composition with several interesting elements, green FG, boat & the city lights in the distance, all combining very well. Beautiful light & colour. Thanks
Regards

Hi Hakki,
you have a very interesting photogallery!
this photo attracted me by its thumbnail first of all... I am impressed by the quality of the shot - especially by the lower part of the photo, with the green colour of the water and nicely smooth water surface :)
4 seconds worked very well in this case: the moving boat became slightly blurred whereas the diastant line of the shore, with warmly lit buildings looks quite sharp, which adds a nice touch to this view :)
Very good choice of vertical format!
with very best wishes from Moscow,
Elena

It is interesting, the long exposure made the boat move, so I dont know if the tripod is really needed... cool effect anyway.
Best regards.
