The Theological School of Halki at the Heybeliada island of the Princes Islands, Istanbul.
Historic notes:The School was founded in the nineteenth century on the grounds of the Patriarchal Monastery of the Holy Trinity that has occupied the site for over 1,000 years. It is famous, among others, from its library with its historic collection of books, journals, and manuscripts. The Halki Theological School was closed in 1971. The building is currently used for conferences and various world renowned dignitaries.

Hi, Enia!
I love this one! What an interesting window, and it's casting great diagonal line shadows on the wall and floor. Also, cool how it's dark at the tops of the wall surrounding the window.

Good B/W composition, keep the mood in photo, excellent light, normal I dont like the gritty picture, but it fit vell in this one.

I like its simplicity, shadows on wall, black shapes of board and desk. The window frame has a very interesting shape too. I agree about mood and nostalgia.
