Between Europe and Asia, a photo from Canakkale, Marmara

Hi, my friends!
This is one of the ferries that transports people and vehicles between Europe and Asia regularly two or three times an hour across the Dardanelles strait. The strait is about two to five miles wide (you can see the opposite (European) bank behind the ship and I'm shooting from the Asian bank - from the pier of Chanakkale town.

наверное это самое распространенное название для фотографий в этом проливе. Судя по окраске неба, скоро грянет буря. Хорошие цвета и отличная резкость.

Merhaba Komşu, when it is stormy in the Dardanelles strait, those ferries do not work till the weather calms down. I liked the grey tone of the sky. Best regards, Tolga

A fine maritime motif with the ferry leaving Asia bound for Europe!
And I think it is only two places in the world where you can take an image like this hehehe...

You have had a wonderful - but difficult - light when taking this one. The a bit threatening sky even emphasizes this impression. This must be a very special place.
