Photographer's Note

3 photos today from the Rock of Van, each quite different, I prefer this one, some people may disagree.
This is the restored Hüsrev Pasha Külliyesi (meaning the Külliye of "lord" Hüsrev, Hüsrev is a name though I have never met or heard of anyone who has that name, and I don't know what "külliye" means, it must be some type of religious building) dating from the year 1567. Behind it is the Rock of Van and its fortifications. One of the WS photos will show this monument seen from the top. The other WS photo is a cloudburst of the area to the right of this photo. They do not overlap, so no stitch possible.
