Photographer's Note

While driving along the roads of southeastern Anatolia, I had an eye which looked after eventual poppy fields, not isolate poppies here and there. Sometimes they were quite far from the road, and other times there were too many electric poles which interferred with the beauty of the field. This one was the only one I found which had plenty of poppies, and as a bonus, scattered white clouds in the sky. I waited until the wind would carry this lonely cloud to the middle of the picture, because I wanted a rather symmetrical shot in this case. The symmetry would be broken with the one fourth of the horizon line and the shape of the cloud. I still had to walk uphill about half a mile until I reached this one.
