Photographer's Note

In the south of Cappadocia, the Ihlara valley is an easy trek of around 10 km.
The small river and green trees in the valley is a good contrast with the rest of cappadocia. When arriving at the start of the valley, it really looks like a green canyon in the middle of desert. Impresive.
All the way long, troglodyte churches are caved in the cliffs.

The picture is taken at the end of the valley (where the green fades away) and is a scan with noise removed. I liked the perspective of river/road/cliff, the contrast sky/cliff and some trees as lonely characters.
