Photographer's Note

The life still goes on quiet and calm in the remote parts of Ankara just like in the old movies. The most obvious change in the facades of the old buildings is the satellite antennas. Other than this you cannot exactly tell if you're in 1970s or 2010s.

This shot is from an old street in Kalecik. Kalecik is a town of Ankara, 70 kms from the city center. A mostly agriculture area with its worldwide known Kalecik Karasi grape variety which is used to make some of Tukey's best red wines.
