Photographer's Note

This is the nineth entry of my recent series with Aegean Scenes. The tenth and last one will come tomorrow.
Aegean region and "prickly pear" [Opuntia ficus-indica]two things which belong strictly to each other. Now in autumn the fruits are sold on small stands embedded in ice cubes, in downtown of İzmir.
I mentioned within the cathegory also "homorous". The reason is quite simple. It's name in turkish : Kaynana Dil'i.
Translated into english : "The tongue of mother in law" !
