Photographer's Note
Aleppo is a place for photographers. It's many old buildings and streets, it's historical heritage, make a great place for people who enjoy to take pictures in such an atmosphere. It's bazaar is probably one of the biggest and busiest places in the world. It's citadel, seen from far, is also a must while visiting Aleppo.
This picture taken with my digital camera without the help of a tripod: The green color comes from green colored floods on the tomb, and the red of the wall from the tungsten lamp. The visitors seen in the picture make a prayer while passing near the tomb of a
important person.

I remember this wonderful building very well, although unfortunately I didn't manage to get any interior shots as I was using slow slide film; no changing the ISO from shot to shot in those days!
This is really good; a well balanced composition, and I like the colours produced by the mixed light sources. The inclusion of the figures is important; they add a necessary touch of life to the image.
Good work.

Interesting combination of light in this shot, with the cold green light in the arch and the warm orange light surrounding it. Congratulations on your nice round number of points - 15,000! Well done!

Hi Izzet. I'm not feeling well and having a bit of a fever, but I still wanted to drop you a few quick words on this one. I really enjoy thte low-light mood in this one and the effectively-placed human silhouettes in front of the green-illuminated tomb. Also, despite the limited lighting, the amount of textural detail that is present in the stonework of the citadel is beautiful. Good shot.

Another classic image, Izzet. I thought this was a medium format shot. Though it is not, it has the same classy quality.

Hi Izzet,
Well composed with good lighting. The two dominant hues are very effective here and I like the clarity of detail on the stonework. The two figures make the shot, giving it warmth and character. Finally, the vertical format is most apropos to give a good sense of depth here and highlight the splended hanging light. Well captured, Izzet.

Merhaba,

Hi Izzet.
The light, the colour, even the place and, of course, the people, make the photo different.
And I like this photo.
Thanks for share.
