Even though it rains here on only a handful of days per year, recent heavy rains meant a lot of damage in riverways. To minimise future dame a huge amount of earthworks and bigger tunnels etc have been constructed such as this one.

Hi Murray,

The distance between the dam and the mountains is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the architecture of the dam. A good management of the strong light which does hurt the output of the colors. Have a nice day.

Taken in the middle of the day? Despite the haze etc a very impressive scene showing a marvel of design.
