It is told Jesus and his disciples had a meeting in a cave located in this area. It was here He taught them "The Lord's Prayer" the most famous prayer for Christians. Today there is a church around with the prayer in many languages.

Dizem que jesus se reuniu com seus discípulos numa caverna que existia aqui e foi neste lugar que ele os ensinou o "Pai Nosso", que é a mais importante oração do cristão. Hoje há uma igreja no local e temos painéis com esta oração escrita em dezenas de idiomas.

Whatever Jesus may have done here or there is of little importance to me, but I like the photo. It is a fine building and it's pleasantly framed by trees. It's also a very well exposed photo with wonderful colours.

This is the kind of image I see when I close my eyes and try to visualize Jerusalem. Your picture has exactly that atmosphere with the almost white walls of the church, the green of a palm-tree and the deep blue of the sky.

I like the three vertical elements of the palm tree, the bg belltower and the fg stepped fence. Good sharpness and well framed and composed. Excellent textural details and framing and good choice of a vertical format. Tfs!
