Acre outer walls, part of the old port. Main photo is due north with the very far ridge is the border to Lebanon.

The walls were built in different stages from each era when conquered by Romans (1st to 4th century), Arabs, Crusaders (Templars), Byzants and Ayyubid period, Mamluks,than Othoman empire during the 16th century (source from Wikipedia).

WS view due south with Haifa built upon the Carmel mt. on the far side.
