Red/pink/orange hour skyline, a photo from Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv

Photographer's Note

It was an exceptional clear day Saturday with 15c afternoon.
These pictures at dusk were taken from the same high hill in Givatayim, which were shown previously on my gallery.
Center picture is at 32.07, 34.794 on the map.
The attached WS was an earlier shot by few minutes to the main photo.

Both converted from RAW, main picture was taken at 16:9 aspect ratio, F4.0, 1/80, ISO640. Did not changed any of the original colors, saturation and hue's.

Hello Ike,
Some of these buildings are getting quite familiar now, but I haven't seen them in this kind of light before, as far as I remember. The clear day ended with magical colours, as both photos show, and the silhouettes of the skyscrapers accentuate the beauty of the sunset. The red neon sign to the left is a fine detail. The sharpness and exposure of both photos are impressive.

It looks a bit like a scene from a futurological movie with the red sky as if it were another planet.
Amazing how the colours in both pictures have changed in a few minutes time.

Hello Ike,

I'm sure that this photograph gave you immense satisfaction! I remember how felt gaining a similar shot in NY!
The rich colours in the sky make a perfect backcloth for displaying the cityscape of Tel Aviv. I like how the dark, geometric buildings seem spangled with stars!

I hope you don't mind but ... my favourite is the w/s. The brighter sky suits me!

Hi Ike,
wow this is a spectacular sight! The panorama taken from a perfect point of view and crispy sharp. The impact of having the tripod is huge! People try to take it with phones nowadays but the tripod changes the quality dramatically.
The color of the sky is amazing, a gradient from dark red through orange to yet another red tone.

A beautiful unusual deep red sunset that is the perfect backdrop for this Tel Aviv skyline.
For these kind of deep colours, the atmosphere must has been extremely bright.

Yes, I recognize those tower from a previous shot. I really like that firy red tone of after sunset sky. That goes well with all the dotty lights on buildings. Usually the best sunsets come with a few clouds, but this is awesome as is.

The color of the sky is really beautiful and unusual in this shot. The silhouettes of all the skyscrapers look great, and the red writing in Hebrew compliments the color of the sky, too. Take care!

the stark contrasting blacks vs orange/red is just so good.
