Photographer's Note

The fortress at Tel Affek was built in the 16th century. Archeologists have found the remains of a 3500 years old house in the fortress. Apparently, this was the house of an Egyptian governor around 16th-14th century BC. The house, which visitors can step right into (actually, down to), resembles a small maze. This pic was taken from what I guess used to be the main hallway.
