Photographer's Note

A Common Kestrel, it's scientific name is Falco Tinnunculus.

It is a prey bird, size of a 30cm-35cm, wings-span at 70cm – 80cm, male weigh 150+/- grams, while female weigh up to 190 grams.

This is the mostly found Kestrel in Israel, always found standing on high pole or lamp-post observing the surrounding.

Noticed it while I was planes-spotting around an open wide cultivated field, at first approached to a different lamp-post from a frontal POV – it most probably saw me, flew and stood further up on a different pole.
Had to step quietly from side, as seen on this picture.
