A nice guy that was happy to pose for us with his beautiful horse.
Met him while walking on a trail from the look-out point of Camel-Hill near Sderot.

Good sharpness and the clear blue sky provides a great backdrop. The black attited man atop the white horse adds graphism. Nice of him to spare a moment for you to get a grab shot. Tfs!

You have captured well the smiling expression of the man. The point of view is showing the details of the horse and of its rider. The light is bringing out the colors. Have a nice day.

My initial thought to myself was would it have been better to take the image from the other side. On consideration I don't think it would as there would be a real risk of highlight/shadow or both, being lost due to the harsh light.
In a perfect world the horse's head might have been higher, but I've never tried to give posing instructions to a horse :-)

Hello Ike,

I was immediately interested ... that is how I would love to travel! I used to ride when younger but not now for decades!
It's a well composed photograph, the pair well placed in the frame.
The rider looks happy and jolly but, not so the horse!
Was it a hot day for carrying a rider?

The man seems to be enjoying the horseback riding.
Or he smiles kindly because a photo is taken.
But I have the impression that the horse's eyes are closing.

charming portrait, although the model seems a bit shy.
May be it was a hot day and both the horse and rider were tired.
The horse indeed seems to have a very original color, very clean and appear elegant.
