Photographer's Note

The dark peak in the right side of the foto is Aaron's Tomb (Jabal Harun) in Jordan. It is part of the Petra experience, at 1350 meters above sea-level it is the highest peak in the Har Edom (Red Mountain) area. It is believed, Aaron, Moses' brother died and was buried here. A 14th century mosque stands here with its white dome visible from most areas in and around Petra (although not in this foto, but it can also be visible to the naked eye on a good day from the Israeli side).

Har Edom (The Red Mountain) part of the Syrian - African Rift Valley. It is a series of many sandstone peaks and mountains. The colours are spectacular, especially at sun down. Enjoy.
