Photographer's Note

A view of the Hula nature reserve (pronounces Khu-La), a major stop-over point for the migrating birds en-route Africa in the autumn.
Location of the small lake, which is called Agmon (free translation of a small lake) at 33.105, 35.607 on the map, in a re-gained land from what was marsh-land big lake dried out in the 1950th.

I suggest to view the map on a “satellite view”, for better understanding of the area.

This view due east, from a prominent summit in the Naftali mountains ridge on the west side of the Afro-Syrian rift. On the east side of the rift we see the Golan-Heights and one of its dormant volcano Mt. Avital, where taken this night quarry picture.

A WS picture from the Balloon flight shows the high summit from where taken the main post.

Another WS shows a zoom extract picture of the southern part of the Hula lake.

Technicals: RAW, F10.0, 1/250, ISO100.
