Photographer's Note

A re-visit to the Herzlyia marina, will present a mini-series of inverted boats reflections pictures and other's.
Location of the marina is at 32.161, 34.793 on the map.

The first uploaded here, a large yacht anchored and the concept is to capture the "painted" calm, yet in motion water surface.

Picture converted from RAW, F9.0, 1/100, ISO100, spot. Inverted the original up-side-down.

Hello Ike,
The colour palette is relatively modest, but the many distorted details make it interesting to try to analyze what I am looking at. Even without the short note I would probably identify a boat - for logical reasons - but to get every detail right is not so easy. But that is what makes these reflections so fun.

A very artistic photo from the marina. The reflections in the calm waves of the water are wonderful and nicely distorted. I like the many blue and greenish tones.

Hello Ike,

I thing we both have a fascination with reflections.
This one has made an interesting pattern, with limited but nicely co-ordinated colours.
The shimmering shapes give the reflection a very Impressionistic appearance.
