Photographer's Note

A Cessna 152 on landing path to runway 29 at Herzliya Airfield, was caught "on top" of the construction crane. An eyes illusion by coincinsce at time taken.

Picture converted from RAW, cropped all sides, F9.0, 1/800, ISO100.

It really looks like the pilot was performing a clever balancing act. Maybe he had earlier been working at a circus. ;-) Yes, I understand this was a pure coincidence, but it looks quite funny, and you could have pretended you made sure to take the photo at exactly the right fraction of a second.

The aircraft is well placed in the frame. The point of view is showing the details of the Cessna 152 and of the crane in the background. The light is giving good colors output. Have a nice day.

Ha! Ha! Ike, from the thumbnail, this looks like a toy plane, fastened to a pole around which it could rotate.

Of course, it is all an illusion!
It's a real plane and a real crane!
Your photograph shows just how easy it is to get the wrong impression!

I'm sure you smiled when you were posting this; a sharp photograph of an optical illusion!

The pilot says, we have a perfect 'touch-down'???... or 'clinging-on' to the construction crane :-)
The timing was spot on to precision. How many 'clicks' you made? Just one click, one shot....what a perfect pair of eyes to notice this stunning optical illusion , you creating in this photo.
As usual, the sharpness and clarity of this Cessna 152 is beautifully taken in mid-air about to land.....
