Photographer's Note

Some 100 years ago this was a swamp, dried out and now a fertile agriculture field.

The place is just west side of the Khefer Natural-reserve, 32.375, 34.933 on the map, mid-coastal plains in Israel.

The plastic tubes placed on the furrows, a drip-irrigation system, water-saving, cost-saving and environmentally-friendly, emitting water in measured quantities, computer-controlled. The company that invented this system, “Netafim” (pronounces Ne-ta-fim), was sold on 07/08/2017 for 1.5B$ value to a Mexican company.

Technicals: A RAW converted into JPEG, F10.0, exp.1/200, ISO100.
