Photographer's Note
Royal chariot or the Imperial carriage of the Pahlavi dynasty (1925-1979), Bonyad museum of Royal vehicles, Tehran.
This carriage was made in Austria by Joseph Klickman by the order of the Imperial court of Iran for the coronation ceremony of Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi and Queen Farah in 1967. The chariot was carried by 8 white horses on that day. The emblem on the door is the Pahlavi family coat of arms and the crown above the chariot is the Pahlavi crown.
There is another royal chariot in this museum that belongs to the Qajar dynasty.

Hello Akbar,
Wonderful shot, with good composition and exposure, and accompanied by a very informative note. This is a package in the best traition of Trekearth. You must have been just a year old when the Shah abdicated, an left Iran. I remember visiting Ankara during the summer of 1967, and seeing him an the Dibi Farah in a motorcade. Warm regards, Akbar,
Bulent
