place .people living on stone home.you can see home in left of photo. evry alot of tourist come here and stay for sleeping in stone homes.it is highlander and weather is cold.in village you can shopping almond,huts,kernel,peanut,honey,pistuchio,dried fig,dried berry,dried apricot ,huzlenut,raisin.this product are natural.

I think accordind to the rock`s toughness these may offer the village`s folk houses of good quality. They are good shelters to face the climateric conditions. I can see an electric pole. Energy is essential to have a better comfort. An Happy New Year 2010. Domingos

Hello Saber,

I like this shot very much with the family members trudging up the steep hillside. The child with the red coat adds useful color highlight to an otherwise monochromatic scene. A friend had asked me about whether I knew of cliffs carved into dwellings in the manner of Cappadocia, and I remember seeing images at Trekearth highly evocative of those in Turkey. Thanks for the vicarious pleasure of letting us all see this extraordinary place in Iran.

very interesting view of this village located in the middle of the rocks, I liked the way the walls were build using the original rocks to close some spaces. sad the sky was so white, nothing to do in this case. I liked the framing and the people in the scene. well done

Hello Saber,

Really astonishing and interesting village. Certainly easier to go up than to go down !!! After strong rains I suppose that it must be difficult to circulate in these stony lanes. The night, with the light of these standard lamps, these rocks must have other forms… Thank you for this discovery Saber.

Intersting architecture you show us here. You had difficult light and because of that the bg got a bit washd out. I such cases a polarizer sometimes can help.
