You hit the nail :)
First i hesitated about the juxtapositioned duo, then i realized that together they create a weird creature, and so i liked it more.
Exciting to see such photos on TE.

Wonderfully simple yet very effective desert scene. The minimalistic approach is very well suited for a black and white photograph. It seems there was a sandstorm preveously as the distant mountains are clouded in the mist.
The trails in the sand add a sense of mystique to the scene.
