Photographer's Note

Old building of the central Post office , Tehran.
The building belongs to the era of Reza Shah Pahlavi with its own unique architectural style. Unlike other buildings of this era, this one is more simple. The only design of the facade are the bulls on the pillars as seen in this photo. The huge building is located in the the Sepah Ave. in the city centre and was built in 1932. It consists of a central part and two wings along the street. The easter wing is now dedicated to the museum of Post, telegeraph and telephone but the western wing is unused.
